Student Services Staff
Counselling Services
The Student Services Team consists of two Guidance Counsellors who are available to assist students with personal issues, course selection, career choices, peer support, post-secondary options, scholarship applications and information about other educational and support service that are available in the community. Student Services directs parents and students for referrals to outside agencies.

Personal
Personal counselling is available to all students regarding:

Academic
Counsellors offer support in many areas such as:
course selection and placement timetabling study skills transition issues (gr. 8 - gr. 9) and (gr.12 - post secondary) credit checks grad status reports Ministry of Sask. evaluations obtaining transcripts for post secondary
Vocational
Counsellors provide information and facilitate processes on:
career searches scholarships letters of reference resume writing * interest inventories financial aid spend-a-day programs study and/or travel abroad application workshops
Lay Chaplain
The Chaplain is available as a resource to students who require support in their spiritual lives or need direction. The chaplain is prepared to make referral to professional caregivers, when appropriate.

Indigenous High School Advisor
Billie LaSwisse
The Indigenous High School Advisor builds relationships with Indigenous students and families and supports transitions from elementary to high school to post-secondary/careers. The Advisor facilitates cultural engagement activities that are designed to create belonging for Indigenous students, understanding for non-Indigenous students, and to support Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action.
Relationships and mentoring
Building close, supportive relationships with Indigenous students. Bridging communication with school staff Build on-going relationships with First Nations and Métis Community Connect Indigenous students with community supports Supporting Truth and Reconciliation initiatives in the school
Transitions
Supporting transitions from elementary school to high school Supporting transitions between high school and post-secondary school.
Cultural Engagement
Developing a sense of belonging for Indigenous students through cultural activities. Creating understanding for non-indigenous students through cultural activities.
Academics/Career planning/Guidance
Connection to tutoring, course planning, peer mentoring and role modeling. Credit tracking & planning Exposing Indigenous students to career possibilities and supporting their pursuit.
Parental engagement
Encouraging dialogue between parents, school and student. Provide opportunities for parents to engage in activities.
Resource Officer
Constable Brad Young
Constable Young is the Resource Officer for LeBoldus, as well as for several south elementary schools. He is available to help students and parents with legal or personal issues.
SSWIS Case Worker
SSWIS can help newcomer children and youth and their families have a meaningful school experience. Settlement Support Workers in Schools provided services in all Regina elementary and high schools in the Public, Catholic and French school divisions.

Family Support Coordinator
The Support Coordinator's (FSC) role at the High School level Focuses on students who require intensive support and are not connected to outside agencies for individual service. The FSC supports students struggling with mental health, family dynamics, health and well-being, trauma, behavior (such as anger management) and stressors. The FSC will work with students and families for 12-18 months; after which they will be reassessed and possibly referred to outside agencies. Students are referred through the vice principal or student services.
